Hostel Comercial is placed in the center of Madrid, between Sol and Plaza Mayor. It is a good hostel with a nice, familiar environment and very clean. The Hostel Comercial offers the client the possibility of enjoying the touristic and historical center of Madrid without taking any public transportation. This Hostel has 11 rooms, all facing the street and equipped with hair dryer, internet access, television, air conditioning, heating,... The Hostel admits payment by credit card. A good option for a Madrid Hostel.
From the airport By underground, you have to change twice (three lines) go to Sol (several alternatives). In Sol take the Calle Mayor Exit, walk for about 20/30 mts and turn on the left in the Calle Esparteros. (Price: single ticket 1,15€, ticket of 10, less than 6€). By Taxi, aproximately 20 minutes (depends on the traffic) its arround 25-30€. Take the highway N-II to Madrid, this will bring you to Avenida de America, continue straight on to Paseo de la Castellana, turn left until you reach Cibeles. In Cibeles turn right, there are two streets, take the one to the left which brings you to Sol. (See underground) From Atocha Train Station By underground, direct line to Sol. Once in Sol take the Calle Mayor Exit, walk for about 20/30 mts and turn on the left in the Calle Esparteros. (Price: single ticket 1,15€, ticket of 10, less than 6€). By Taxi drive up Atocha, turn on the right to Plaza Santa Cruz and continue for some meters to Esparteros street. We strongly recommend to use the underground in Madrid, it is the fastest way to reach the centre of Madrid as the traffic in Madrid is very dense during most of the day and it is common to get in the middle of a traffic jam.

2021-11-22 20:28:46Hostal Comercial is in center of Madrid and this is very positive because all the attractions are only 15-20 minutes walking. It is a very old bulding but the room that i had was clean wich is the most important thing for me. A big plus was that the room was warm. The negative was the noise from the road and also the phone of the hotel that was ringing all the time, but not at night. The staff didn't speak good english but they were polite and helpful.

2020-02-20 10:09:52Las toallas huelen a cigarro, por lo que sales como si fumaras.. Por otro lado la ubicación es buena pero no me gusto las habitaciones muy antiguas y pequeñas... Por otro lado deje las maletas a cuidar y me sacaron una bolsa con souvenirs que le traje a unos amigos

2016-10-11 16:57:04A very nice palce to stay. All was super clean, and all members of staff and/or owner were very nice and friendly. I have nothing on the minus list. I had a very quiet room that was facing to the back of the street. It might be the case that rooms facing the street are somewhat noisy, but you are in the heart of Madrid.

2016-01-23 12:46:48Yo pediría que por favor las toallas les colocarán suavisador o las secaran en secadora en caso de poder colocar suavisador ya que en realidad al secarte te haces daño por lo dura de las fibra de las toallas. Quedan tiezas las toallas del resto me gusto. Y por su ubicación es genial todo cerca y el dueño muy amable el señor Paco

2015-05-17 08:58:32Il personale dell'hotel è quasi inesistente. Oltre al giorno del nostro arrivo e la donna delle pulizie, non abbiamo mai visto nessuno. Infatti hanno voluto il pagamento anticipato della camera. La cosa che ci ha spinto a venire in questo hotel è la posizione che rimane formidabile.
