One of the most charming Hostels of Madrid, placed right in the center of Madrid, just in front of the Parliament, one minute walking to the most known Musseums (Prado, Thyssen, Reina Sofia), and numerous touristic places like Sol, Neptuno, Atocha, Santa Ana, Huertas,... Armesto Hostel is placed in a quiet street in the center of Madrid and have many comforts that will make your stay in the city very nice, the rooms are wide and very well refurnished with totally new bathroms. It is also regented by nice people which will attend you in anything you might need about the city. Without any doubt it is a good choice to enjoy all the atractions of the city.
From the airport By underground, you have to change twice (three lines) go to Banco de Espana (several alternatives). Take down Paseo del Prado, once you reach Neptuno fountain on the right there are three streets, the one in the middle is San Agustin. (Price: single ticket 1,5 eur, ticket of 10, less than 10 eur). By Taxi, aproximately 20 minutes (depends on the traffic) its arround 25-30 eur. Take the highway N-II to Madrid, this will bring you to Avenida de America, continue straight on to Paseo de la Castellana, turn left until you reach Neptuno, turn right, there are three streets, the one in the middle is San Agustin. (See underground) From Atocha Train Station Walk up Paseo del Prado, once you reach Neptuno Fountain take the first on the left, there are three streets, the one in the middle is San Agustin.. (Price: single ticket 1,5 eur, ticket of 10, less than 10 eur). By Taxi drive up Paseo del Prado to Neptuno, turn lef in Neptuno, there are three streets, the one in the middle is San Agustin. We strongly recommend to use the underground in Madrid, it is the fastest way to reach the centre of Madrid as the traffic in Madrid is very dense during most of the day and it is common to get in the middle of a traffic jam.
